minutesBiscuits and tea? What about biscuits with tea! Simple biscuits with just 5 ingredients and a distinctive taste of chai tea and a hint of vanilla. A perfect treat that happens to be vegan.
Ingredients
4 spoons of chai tea or tea bags*
200 g margarine or vegan butter (cold)
400 g plain flour
200 g demerara sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 spoons of oat milk
2 spoons of demerata sugar
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, chai tea, vanilla extract and margarine.
- Make a ball, flatten it and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes (or ideally an hour if you are not in a rush)
- Roll the dough and cut it into your favourite shape (hearts in my case – helplessly romantic)
- Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar
- Bake for 15 mins at 180 C (fan oven)
Notes
- Don’t have chai tea at home? Do not worry! These biscuits are delicious with any tea, just look at what tea you have left in your cupboard.
